Whoa! This is something totally new. The SL Film Society has invited the SLSC to host this event on April 30. In return, they are giving us 10 free tickets. The 10 tickets will be given to the first 10 members of the SLSC to show at the door with a bottle of ther finest plonk for the wine reception .. Lets get out there & support this adventure! Any wine left over after this event may consumed at the residence of Rita & Steven Johnson, or on "The Mrs.". Oh Yeah! Homemade wines will not work!

SHARKWATER SHOWING APRIL 30 AT SILVER LAKE CINEMA

Sylvan Lake, AB. The Sylvan Lake Film Society is screening SharkWater, winner of numerous international awards, on April 30 at 7:15 p.m. at the Silver Lake Cinema. The Sylvan Lake Film Society is a program of the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library.
Movie tickets are $8.00 each, available at the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library or at the screening.
The Sylvan Lake Sailing Club will be hosting a wine reception following the screening.

Access to non-commercial films is now available in Sylvan Lake through screenings the last Monday of the month. The Sylvan Lake Film Society works with FILM CIRCUIT, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. Film Circuit is an association of over 190 domestic and 40 international film groups that screen short and feature films though out Canada. Film Circuit also promotes and tours Canadian films throughout the world.
